Ms Lare Adebayo

RN (NMC :11B0099E)

Lare is our Specialist Paediatric Nurse Practitioner, NMC Registered Nurse (11B0099E). She qualified at London South Bank University in 2011 and has worked with our clinic part-time for the past eight years. Alongside her role here, she works as a Gastroenterology Clinical Nurse Specialist at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children (GOSH).

She has extensive experience across general paediatrics, A&E, surgical short stay, oncology/haematology, and neonatal intensive care (NICU). This background has helped her develop a calm, reassuring approach and excellent rapport with both children and adults.

Lare is also the clinic’s Safeguarding Lead and is passionate about supporting children, young people, and families.

She provides a wide range of nursing services, including phlebotomy, vaccinations (including Yellow Fever), wound care, injections, sexual health screening, blood pressure checks, UTI testing, stitch removal, and follow-up cryotherapy.

Headshot of Nurse Lare on Purple background

“In over 15 years as a paediatric nurse, I’ve come to understand that families rarely seek healthcare until they feel they have no choice. But when it comes to childhood immunisations, travel health and routine testing, early action almost always leads to better outcomes. In private practice, I regularly see patients in three situations: parents needing or seeking reassurance about childhood immunisation schedules, timings and safety; children and adults preparing for travel who are unsure which vaccines or preventative medications are right for their age, health history and destination; and individuals requiring discreet, timely sexual health screening following a potential exposure. Whatever brings someone through the door, my approach is the same: listen carefully, assess the individual risk, and act without delay. Vaccine-preventable illnesses are largely avoidable with the right preparation, and I know how much uncertainty parents carry when it comes to protecting their children’s health.

While my background is in paediatrics, I work with patients of all ages and apply the same thorough, evidence-based approach whether I’m administering a toddler’s immunisation or preparing an adult for a complex travel itinerary. I also provide phlebotomy for adults. Having spent years taking blood from some of the most anxious patients imaginable, I’ve developed a calm, gentle technique that tends to make the experience far smoother and less stressful. In the fast-paced environment of London E14, I know that access to responsive, knowledgeable care isn’t a luxury. It’s what gives families and individuals the confidence to travel safely, stay well, and get the answers they need.”
