Benefits of Breastfeeding:

  • Nutrition: Mother’s milk provides the perfect balance of nutrients for infants, adapting to the baby’s changing needs.

  • Enhanced Bonding: The physical closeness and eye contact during breastfeeding foster an emotional bond between mother and child.
  • Long-term Health Benefits: Research indicates that breastfeeding is associated with lower risks of obesity, type 2 diabetes, and certain cancers for children later in life.
  • Maternal Health: Breastfeeding has been linked to lower risks of postpartum depression, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, and osteoporosis in mothers.

Challenges of Breastfeeding:

  • Initial Pain and Discomfort: Many new mothers experience soreness or difficulty in the early stages of breastfeeding.
