A Note of Gratitude and Assurance
A note from Dr Wayne Cottrell:
I want to express my deep appreciation for the unwavering support, patience, and loyalty that you’ve shown during these challenging past eight months. The journey has been unexpected and filled with hurdles stemming from my sudden cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatment. This unforeseen situation, at times, limited our in-clinic availability, causing disruptions to our regular schedule and service. I apologise for any inconvenience this might have caused.
First and foremost, I want to offer a personal update: I am in good hands. My health is progressing, and while the road to recovery may still take turns, I am optimistic about the future. With hope and determination, I aim to return to what I love doing by early next year, even if it initially means only online consultations.
Finding the right fit for our clinic in my absence has been challenging. The sanctity of patient-doctor relationships is paramount. I’ve always been a staunch believer in the significance of continuity in care. Having a consistent doctor who truly gets to know you and understands your medical history and concerns often leads to a more holistic healthcare experience. This philosophy has guided my search for the right medical professionals to join our clinic.
I am thrilled to share that I’ve found a team that embodies this philosophy and upholds the high standards we’ve set. These dedicated doctors will ensure you receive the best care, even in my absence.
With this newly fortified team, I’m pleased to announce that our clinic will be reopening six days a week. We aim to serve you better, ensuring you have the access and care you deserve.
Thank you for being a part of our journey. Your trust, understanding, and faith in us have been the pillars that keep us going. As we move forward, know that we are committed, more than ever, to your well-being.
