Around 60,000 fertility treatments are performed in UK clinics each year. On average one-quarter of those treatments are fully successful.
1 in 6 heterosexual couples in the UK are affected by infertility, and 25% of those cases go unexplained.

IUI treatment
More recently we have seen an increase in same-sex couples seeking single women and surrogates for fertility treatment.
Known as IUI or Intrauterine Insemination. Same-sex couples, who have no medical issues that prevent pregnancy can have sperm inserted directly into a woman’s uterus during ovulation.
3 to 6 cycles of IUI can provide an 80% success rate, depending on a woman’s age.
